Challenge: Strengthening the key competencies of family entrepreneurs who have gone through the succession process or are involved in the generational discussion on company management in the area of green transition
How SUFABU intends to address this challenge?
The project includes various activities that are designed to fulfil the main goal to support family businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises on their way towards a green transition. The work is divided into 5 work packages: Project Management; Collection of In-Dept Case Studies; Green Transition Training Modules; Micro-Learning Video Units; Training Platform Development and Pilot Testing. Furthermore, a training activity is included to support adequately direct beneficiaries as well.
The SUFABU project builds on a previous SUFABU project that worked directly with family businesses and SMEs, helping them to pass the business on from one generation to the next.
To collect motivational examples of family businesses and SMEs about their own experience and practices toward the green industry;
To create easy-to-use, easy-to-understand and easy-to-digest learning materials of various formats and topics in the green transition;
To organize a training activity for educators, mentors and advisors to be able to provide family businesses and SMEs with mentoring in the field of the green transition.
To fulfill the stated objectives, we will develop 4 concrete project results:
Through the cooperation of project partners, the project aims to deliver various innovative educational materials for family entrepreneurs as well as for other SMEs and increase their knowledge, and green skills and motivate them to start their own transition to a sustainable GREEN future!
